A Summer Remembered --- Trois Par Huit

.
                                           one summer

                                    as the ocean shimmered

sweet regrets, after a tattered day...

earth wept tears, as the sun shriveled into the bay..

and the receding tides washed our footprints away

erased in time....lost in a glimmer...

                                   teenage love, remembered...

                                               one summer...

Just now I have seen three that I like better than my own, so that means I probably have a snowball's chance in hell of winning this contest. hahaha. thanks for commenting to your blog. When someone writes the way you do with your mastery of English, it is no problem that you do not punctuate, my dear! And I know that sometimes you do, right? Luv,Andrea
