A Study In Equinoxes
Beautiful Venus smiled upon her Mars
Diving through time and space, falling from stars
With hooded eyes she moved to entice him
Green hips waving about, a flower stem
When Spring revealed her kingdom to his awe
At last Jack Frost's cold heart began to thaw
They slowly sway together, building trust
and into the virile clay he did thrust
Sweet succulent nectar she did siphon
In full sun, the fruit began to ripen
He grew much stronger, harvesting the field
Took such pride in the bounty it did yield
But time caught up to him and he grew old
Autumn leaves mourned his light that now shone cold
Venus held him close and they danced once more
his body weakened and her waters tore
Taking one last gasping breathe, another
The wailing son now proclaims her mother

Not necessarily mythologically accurate...but a cute little story about the seasons.
