A Striptease of Words

Great poetry-
How do I define
your sheer delight?-
See-through
but not entirely uncovered-
suggestive
but not barely defined-
I wait at the edge of clouds,
enchanted by radiance;
recall the brightest Sun I have ever known
and the dearest burn
so sweetly salved….

Metophorically beautiful. Physics meets poetry meets dirty dancing. Patterns in thought connecting the dots. Time well spent. Thanks for the window into your soul. I think I'm barely peeking in. You have more beauty yet to be seen through the panes of glass in your minds eye with the light on at night and no curtains to block the view through your windows and audiences peering in at you.

I can't begin to say how overjoyed I am to think you would take so much time with my work, explore and see the soul of me that I has into its creation. I am honored. I will frame your comments in my heart. Blessings, Holly! And have a perfectly beautiful day!!

This is wonderful Joe! Letting the reader come to their own conclusion about a poem leaves a bit of fascinating mystery to ponder. I love this! 7 ; )
