A Stepping Smile

Just
     when
         I thought
                    it was
                           gone,
                              a smile
                                     walked
                                              down
                                                    those
steps and my heart skipped a beat..
                                                            Eyes
                                                        that
                                                   years
                                              have
                                        taken
                                 brought
                            back
                    memories
               that
           mean
      the
world...

This is very charming... i feel like making a wish all of a sudden... kidding kidding..,,, I have to say ,, one can never forget that one certain look, I've been in a few situations,, when life stops just for that one certain smile and flashing memory.. But, like in one blink of an eye..it will all vanish again...till eyes meet again,, or not... the simplest smile,,can trigger just about anything you thought was gone..love your poem..always..pd

hahaha, i totally forgot about the karaoke thing! My mind is so forgetful. well, if you ever feel so inclined, just send me a beginning part and I will try to add a stanza. Maybe one day in the future someone will host a contest like that! have a good day, Michael. Time for me to get off now. OH, and this poem is really great. It fits the title perfectly!!! I love short poems that say so much with so few words.
