A Star Fell Burning
In a darkened sky, the stars look down,
wishing that they too, like mankind,
could walk upon the beautiful Earth.
Sometimes they streak across the sky,
and fall to the Earth, as a star burning.
Men look up and make a solemn wish,
that they too, like stars, could so shine.
Then there came a new time of man,
It was a time imbued with enthusiasm.
There was an energy of peace and love,
and through the sea of sin, a way parted.
A way that leads to a place of happiness,
where people, like stars, begin to shine,
and the stars, like people, cry tears of love!
