A Spring Day Qd

My most special day’s in stunning spring
as anxious ‘mummy’ bird sounds a call
her tiny fledglings take to the wing
their maiden flight will always enthral!

Young blackbirds chirp, listen to them sing
as they rest on the stone garden wall
I observe the re-birth Spring will bring
It's the most joyful season of all

The gift of new life truly astounds.
