My most special day’s in stunning spring as anxious ‘mummy’ bird sounds a call her tiny fledglings take to the wing their maiden flight will always enthral! Young blackbirds chirp, listen to them sing as they rest on the stone garden wall I observe the re-birth Spring will bring It's the most joyful season of all The gift of new life truly astounds. There is truly nothing more amazing than "new life." The bird in the photo with outstretched wings is precious! Now as winter approaches, people's thoughts turn to spring again. The rebirth is magnificent! Best wishes in the contest with this amazing poem, Jan! Hugs, Carolyn

Hi Jan, I love the Spring "season" and you captured it very well . There's nothing like seeing a moma bird and her little ones. Watching them chirp and singing is a lovely sound. I really enjoyed the read. I wish you the best of luck in the contest:-) Alexis
