A Spot In Heaven
I have a spot in Heaven
A promise made long ago
An everlasting contract between me
And a man who wore a crown of thorns
The pain this man suffered
Was the greatest ever known
He did it so that all my sins
Would already be paid in full
The burdens that I carry
Will never ever compare
To the wooden cross he carried
So my soul it could be spared
One day when my life is done
My body old and worn
I'll look upon my master's face
I'll know I made it home
