A Souls Civil War

Help
I can not win this battle on my own

I needed you
But you left me alone

I begged you
But you'd just get stoned

My heart is gone
It's my soul that's broken

A civil war
And I'm on my own

On the outside
I'm peaceful

But my soul is fighting
A civil war

I need help
I'm begging
I'm screaming
I need you now

But I mean nothing to you anymore

And my soul is fighting
A civil war

It's very sad to think a "soul is fighting a civil war." If he gets stoned and leaves you with a broken soul, I hope you find someone who deserves your love. Very moving, Jenni!
