A Soul Must Care
And so you’re here. You’re here again.
To cloud my mind, to watch the strain?
To bear your eyes when I can’t see, you bear your eyes all night on me.
I close my eyes knowing that you are there.
But to haunt a life, a soul must care!
I don’t know if it’s weakness, foolishness or simply a wanting for you to dare?
You can’t hurt me now. My soul just doesn’t care.
