A Sonnet For You
Dawn lifts ebon shroud from curved silky sky,
drizzle of sunburst spectrum has begun,
painting the meadow where pearls of dew lie.
Dance of hue starts under shimmering sun.
Cosmic tinsels descend to flush your face,
you feel in your heart my sequined love flow.
Cascade of colors enwraps you with grace,
like a rose drenched by twilight tinge you glow.
The first sunbeam splashes dream dust on me,
I float on reverie through bright day new,
reach you on wings of beguiled breeze, you’ll see,
I write a romantic sonnet for you.
Amorous streaks of dawn begin to fly
with lyrical rhythm of love in my sky.
