A Songbird Transcends To Heaven

My body feels tired and weak as I sit and perch in my tree
My feathers are wet and heavy, I think this is the end for me
My feet barely grasp the branches as my wet feathers drip
My body feels sleepy, my wings are feeling numb to the tip
I feel myself falling, but miraculously I am now soaring free
