A Song That Called Me Home
There was a song that called me home
Whenever I walked towards the dreary tomb
The song came from the walls, the tiles and the doors
To pull me out of the gloomy force.
The song was sweet, magical and soothing
Causing my soul and heart to melt and sing
The soulful song often called me home
Whenever I walked towards the dreary tomb
The song followed me in dark and deep
Seldom letting me take a solitary trip.
It called me with love and warmth, back to my home
Whenever I walked towards the dreary tomb.
The song is still alive but the home is now dead
No walls, no tiles and no doors for the song to thread
Striving to bring my home back to life
The song suffered a dissonant death.
