A Song For Lunar Lovers
O' crescent moon I truly adore you so
Even the full moon upon the shore you know
Art' thee poetically made of cream white ivory
or maybe marble or like cheese in the story?
When my day not my sky is blue
Cradle me in your crescent won't you?
If rock you are upon which we can stand
pray sprinkle me your moonlit sand
Stardust if it makes me sail and fly high up to you
In your curved crescent canoe, a dream come true
You do rock, you rocky terrain way up there
All sad souls rock them then
In your swingy arching chair
In all the shapes and sizes that your sheen may show
Your Creator's artsy, creative magnificence
In designing even thy reflected luminescence
Dear God take a bow, for to Him alone I bow
Ah, glory be to God for thy diamond glow.
Crooning a song for any fervent lunar lovers like me
Join me in thanking the One Deity for all luminosity.
For this luminous nocturnal boon
we know fondly as the Moon
Moonlight, moonshine the most poetic glow
May moonlight through my windows flow
O' crescent moon you are the symbol of mankind's well wisher religion
May darkness heed what your light symbolises,
And realise, acknowledge and follow the one true God's opinion.
