A Sole Survivor
I tried to warn the council, but to no avail.
I beseeched them to hear me. All attempts would fail.
Our planet Krypton is being pulled into the sun.
Soon it will be doom and destruction for everyone.
I only have enough time to save my dear son.
I will send him into space. I must give it a try.
There is a habitable planet orbiting a yellow star nearby.
We have been monitoring radio signals from this place.
On this planet lives a primitive, but comparable race.
Hopefully, my son will make it to this planet alive.
While living among those beings, I know he will thrive.
