A Soldier's Walk of Determination

Watch as I roam these rugged lands of faraway. Listen to the hushed cries as I seek shelter from its fury fields. I can smell the earth’s scents of your impetuous desires. Do not doubt me, for the love of my home will awaken my soul. It will calm the vigorous beat of my heart; as my passion for life roars with intense ferocity. I am wrapped in the light of God’s arms, as he carries me safely through the gentle winds of time. Do you hear my peaceful knock upon your door? Your words of love have given me the strength to fulfill my purpose. Feel my touch as I reach out for the warmth of you and whisper, "I am here from the lands of faraway.
