A Snakes Empty Shell
A Snakes Empty Shell
When days seem dark
and nights are stark,
your thoughts will fill
with loss and chill.
Yet, what is loss,
but skin, snakes toss
for, all of this,
will not be missed
A dog sheds coat,
and sea-tides go,
to bring in new,
a choice to choose.
The cat that tries
with all nine lives,
will sleep at night,
with strength to fight!
To cross the sea
you must not see
the shore, back there;
fight through, when scared
To sink or swim,
you choose to win.
Go forth with pride
and turn the tide!
Win! Ring! Sum! Fall!
Stand proud; stand tall!
When doubts bring fears
Or pain makes tears
that skin is dead,
like snake; you shed.
And if you fall….
Be Proud, Stand Tall
