A Slice of Blueberry Pie

Why am I not getting itchy
  Why's my adrenaline not twitchy

By now I should be quite antsy
  To go somewhere dressed up all fancy

I sense others are worried and nervous
  While I seem to be utterly impervious

A friend attended a drive-in movie show
  I wished him luck -- six feet below...

Alas, the world has passed me by
  As I enjoy a slice of blueberry pie
