A Sleeping Beauty

In the darkness
I look at you lying
Amidst the shadows
As if your dying
bathed in soft light
Lost in a dream
In another world
Or so it seems
A sleeping beauty
Captured in time
Just like snow white
In a nursery rhyme
The curve of your face
Calling my lips
Ache for my touch
With soft fingertips
Skin so smooth
Lips so sweet
Body so soft
Draped with a sheet
Locks of hair
Tease your face
Falling so soft
Like fairy lace
And in the light
your image glows
and then it fades
as my eyes close

Good descriptiveness in simple wording. A pleasure to read.
