Yes, indeed. Rome lasted longer than we will, I think. Same end result though -- on the dustheap of history. Hopefully not in our lifetimes though. Hang in there, Lindsay! : gw

Yes, morals are down the toilet. Same as in Roman days. Empires grow corrupt and fall.

I often think of America as a Rome or a Greece in the making, rotting in its spoilage and corruption from the inside out --- 'til the Huns roll in to ravage the carcass. Maybe not in our lifetime though... We'll see. :) gw

The change in our society and all of American values came from an agenda to 'transform' America. It brings us to a very sad place that could lead many to have much regret in the future.

True, what you're saying... On the other hand, at least the Democrats won't be at war with the news media, and that may lead to a much calmer country. Hope so, anyway. Have to admit that I've had my fill of Mr. Trump's throwing friends under the bus, purposeless name-calling, inability to accept reality, and wink-wink relationship with the Proud Boys, as despicable a bunch as Antifa. Excellent, GERSHON. People do not know who's responsible for their being on earth. Thus, they act accordingly. It's no accident churches and synagogues are closed. Man adores man and thus, evil in all forms is loved. Morality is passé! Winning is all no matter how many are harmed. Have no Degree in morality and staying out of Contest. ))) AMEN, PANGIE
