A Single Candle

Coping with a prognosis, for some seems difficult, but a flicker of hope lingers in my heart. Viewing death as devastating is tantamount to snuffing the inner candle, a prelude to heaven’s glorious light. Even as pain encumbers our abilities, muddling our sense of reason, bask in the glow of optimism that earthly life is but a passage. Through the tunnel we see a beam that resonates through our souls. A single candle illuminates the path to eternal salvation.

Dearest Carolyn, even so..with all the noise around you, there is always hope for the best and God's children will always have the best! That's the bottom line, girl. So keep that candle lit. By the way, this is a great entry for Paula's contest! Best wishes in all and will talk with you soon. Love, Annalise
