A Silent Relationship

Like a wave on a rock, the hushing noise of the water hitting the stone formations, my love for you was rushing through my consciousness. I could feel the warmth of your body next to mine, as I slowly caressed your face in the darkness. You were at peace like the rushing noise of the ocean hitting the rocks, and I followed suit. You lied there dreaming of whatever, while the rest of the world slept. Quietness filled the room and for the time being peace was prominent. I lied next to you thinking how lucky I was to have a precious relationship with you. I relished the moment, for it was great!
