A Shower of Flowers

Tulips fronting daffodils
  Azaleas in pots on windowsills

Rows of rainbow chrysanthemums
  Mingle with orange geraniums

Bright pink peonies ready to pop
A bird of paradise sits on top

Still ~ Red roses always make my day
Arrange them in a sweet bouquet

This sort of nature poems are rare from your pen ! But when you do, they turn out to be gems . Enjoyed the array of flowers with Rose as the reigning queen !

You are, indeed, correct. Nature poems don't come naturally to me. ~ Man of the Great Indoors

Thank you, Line! I'm doing fine. Getting better, not older. Wink, wink... Hope you are healthy and resuming a semi-normal life. Here's to the uniquely human ability to make monumental adjustments! Joy and Happiness, Gershon

Indeed. Nothing is so beautiful as a vase full of roses intermingled with baby's breath. I love them. But, I also enjoy the variety of a flower garden. At last count I have about seven indoor plants in my living room. They are supposed to bloom, but no luck so far.

So far -- keep after those plants, Milt. Give 'em your best shot! ~ Mr. Greenjeans
