A Shoulder To Cry On

What would we do without friendships It'd sure be a lonely existence Life would have no meaning, no purpose No one to brag to for instance To brag about all our many successes To talk to when things go wrong A shoulder to cry on every once in a while We don't always sing happy songs It's really quite normal and actually healthy These feelings of angst and despair It wouldn't be normal if we're always upbeat So it's good to be able to share Why do we need these really close friends Kind of obvious wouldn't you think No one's a solitary ship on the ocean Need friends to help in a wink That's why this site is so important to me The friendships I've made in a year Are hard to replace, this unique li'l group Your friendships I hold very dear © Jack Ellison 2013

I like this, everyone needs a shoulder to cry on. Jack, thank you for all the nice and lovely visits in the past. After seeing and hearing the things that go on in this world, gives me reason to pray and never take my true poet friends for granted. Enjoy the greatest people and things in life. Have yourself a wonderful and lovely Mother's Day. Lots of Luv & Hugs *LINDA

Dragon cried on my shoulder and the weight was too heavy to bear, so I wound up on the floor. He cried buckets of tears that had me swimming, really! For he'd lost his Chameleon Dogasaurus pet, Lolly by name. I whistled and she woke up in the middle of my bed, and changed to look exzactly like dragon... Dragon gave a hoot and a sigh, as he trampled over me to get to her. She's such a sweet little tease as she mimics dragon every day. I just wish he hadn't taught her to poop on my beloved car...
