A Short Phone Call Away

If things aren't going well, You know I'm there for you. Need not to even ask. A short phone call and I'm Friend equal to the task. I'm waiting just to go Sailing away with you., Right into pleasant sea, Behind you all the way Like a good friend should be. A time-out surely will Bridge over your woes and Over all sad memories. Troubled no more, you're on Waters of calm seas. I want so much to help. Will you not let me bring Ease to your worried mind? Your pain will leave when you Mind over matter find.

Congratulations, Joyce, a good friend is all that is needed in many difficult situations, one with a listening ear. Great acrostic.

Excellent rendering of the theme, Joyce, and good rhyme and meter as well. Congratulations! BTW, I have had some poems accepted by cowboypoetry.com recently and see that you and Robert Hinson have some there as well. Cheers, Roy
