A Shimmer

A shimmer in the trees, Yet there was no breeze. 'twas as if something passed by, It caused me to sigh. Did my angel pay me a visit? To let me know it was there? We all have a guardian angel. They keep a perpetual vigil. I know I saw that shimmer, It gladdened my heart with love. For I had felt that heavenly lift, I was sent a gift from above. Father loves his children, He has and always will. So, if you see that shimmer, Let your heart be lifted up. © Dave Timperley 06/05/2021

Lovely to hear from you Dan, Hope all is well now & for the future. Seems a contradiction in terms when I say I have so much time on my hands with this damn lockdown, don't have time to write. This is my 1st effort in months, glad you like it. Blessings my poetry friend.
