A Shimmer
A shimmer in the trees,
Yet there was no breeze.
'twas as if something passed by,
It caused me to sigh.
Did my angel pay me a visit?
To let me know it was there?
We all have a guardian angel.
They keep a perpetual vigil.
I know I saw that shimmer,
It gladdened my heart with love.
For I had felt that heavenly lift,
I was sent a gift from above.
Father loves his children,
He has and always will.
So, if you see that shimmer,
Let your heart be lifted up.
