a shield of silver
rises in starlight to guard
an eternal kiss
on a lover’s path unmapped   
Orion’s ardent sky glows

every line of this was so pretty and nearly every line was very original. I loved "a lover's path 'unmapped' because it says so much about relationships in general. Wonderfully done, Rhonda. Congrats on your second place win.
