This Poem is a reminiscence of my past childhood.

Oh, how I remember as a child, I would lie awake at night, And all the awesome things I'd see, Would want to make me scream and shout. Through the inky darkness I'd see, Shadowy forms of goblins staring back at me, I tried to hold my breath in fear, In case any goblins would draw near. With my blankets up around me tight, I wondered if I'd make it through the night, But as the night turned into day, All of my fears seemed to go away. And as I've grown older over the years, I've gotten rid of my childhood fears, Now I face the world in grownup ways, As I try to endure life's hectic days.
