A Serious Tsunami

Astir the divining of earth. The sea is alive and gives birth.
The sand gives a sigh And waves are so high. The beaches all filled up with dearth.
A freak — oh its mock and its girth. The tsunami cursed all its worth.
Some beachcombers die, As rest of them cry. The island deprived of its mirth.

Well expressed. It must be a terrifying experience.

Some things we just don’t want to experience. Even peeking into the lens is sacred.

I remember this well Kim, it was around Christmas time and every time I watched news reports the death toll kept climbing. They made a film about it too, so tragic . Love how you've captured it in limerick form, well written. Tom

Thank you, Demetrios! I will never forget that news. The death toll was so high then climbed higher and higher. We must respect the sea and learn from the disaster. There are warning signs I never knew.
