Jan, I would think that teaching would be very difficult in today's society. The classroom that I was in at that time was a very difficult group of people. He went to the high school which I think he was more qualified to teach. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

Hi Sara, Your poem compelled me to search(again) for a special teacher I had in Middle School. To my surprise, I found her this morning. I thought I'd share that with you. Thanks:-) Alexis

Kim, Yes, I agree some teachers are pitiful teachers and sometimes a group of students have gotten by with acting out and acting up until it takes a very special teacher to get them back in line. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

I know how teachers are often not appreciated. I was a teacher once but soon got fed up. Loved your poem. ~~

Victor, I can understand why you would get fed up with the way teaching has become. Teachers don't get the respect they need so they can teach. Children are children and they had rather play or goof off then study or listen to a lecture so if they don't get from home that they go to school to learn they just stir up trouble. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Hi Sara, It seems like you had an excellent teacher. Teachers aren't appreciated and underpaid. I'm happy to hear that you had such a teacher. Have a great day:-) Alexis

Alexis, I think he would have been just what we needed but it was not to be. He moved to the high school which worked out better for him. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Mystic, Yes, I was impressed with the teacher. The boys in the classroom all wanted to do was cut up and try to make him leave. He was trying to teach us something. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
