A Scene Living Rent Free in my Head

The air hung heavy with the scent of damp earth and forgotten summers. Light fractured through the roots of a tree, casting ghosts of an abundant life. Sharing a breath of dreams cut short by the ambitions of others – comfort in the knowledge of a life lived to the best of one’s ability.

just sitting with someone
     in a time of
S T R E S S
words are
     superfluous …

It’s more than empathy. It’s LOVE. That’s what it comes down to at the 11th hour. Cats could be our guardians. The Egyptians held them high spiritually. Our world is immersed in War...it never lets up. But there is still Love and protection. Such a beautiful photo, capturing what “love” in its purest essence is all about …and could be taken up by many who choose to see. Exquisite photo. Beautiful thoughts you have expressed.
