A Sacred Glimpse

A Sacred Glimpse

Tall sleek blue grass covers the knoll
Sashaying down the slopes into a field
Where lavender orchids flourish in the sun
Midst the mating waltz of the dragonflies

Translucent azure skies are vibrantly charged
Every particle has a crisp snap of fragrance
Rocks sparkle from traces of liquefied crystal
Beside a stately oak donning a rambunctious hive

Wild raspberry vines crawl up an old trellis
Revealing a garden honed into the earth
The garden grew smaller bearing its identity
Providing a glimpse inside humanities heart
