A Rose For Me

A Rose For Me I don't want one, or two dozen roses. Just one rose would mean so much to me. One rose that I could hold close to my heart. Why would I want a truck load when I have already left this world. I want to enjoy the tenderness and fragrance. now that I'm still here. A rose for me, that's all I want. Guys need to know that just one special rose can mean as much as a dozen or two. It is the sentiment that comes with it that is what is most important. Your poem expresses that so beautifully.

Oh Lucilla I can so relate to this write. If i could i would give you a rose! I love flowers especially carnations and my pots of orchis but want none at my funeral I say give them to me whilst I am here - no blooming use to me when I'm gone. Hugs Jan xxx
