Brian Strand Poet Quatorzain

A Requiem Verse

nothing moves,
silence!
echos of voices,past
awake!
faces appear,then
depart!
a tear trickles,
slowly!
the music plays,
faintly!
emotion erupts,
again!

regret whispers,
in pain!

Note:
a quatorzain is a stanza or poem of fourteen lines
