Movie star, John Alexander,  played Teddy Brewster, a lunatic who thought he was Teddy Roosevelt, in the movie Arsenic and Old Lace. He also played the "real" Teddy in Fancy Pants.

A Real Lunatic

WILL THE REEL* TEDDY PLEASE STAND UP

John Alexander acts a Roosevelt - Teddy.
Bugle calls him up the stairs, steady.
With great veracity and a capacity to frame -
his character as a lunatic or a hero, just the same.
