A Rambling

Reflections, connections, lost and empty space. Desperate feelings, a change of pace. Who knows how we got here? Who knows where we'll go... They say we can't find our way, but what does anyone know? Confusion, you are not my friend. It's only now, I can see clearly again. The way it feels - a jump and a skip away. This isn't just a trial, or even child's play. I feel the truth now, more than ever before. Would it still have come, if I'd chosen to ignore? They say that love is patient, kind, and endures all. Just one taste of it, and I feel rather small. In this sea of the status quo my island stays afloat with thoughts of you. Thoughts of what can be, what is, and all I have to do. No time to sit aimlessly, this is life... Not some fantasy. Love! Such a wonderful thing, to make a life worth living. I have my fill, but am still craving more. You know me, you see me, you know what I feel. A thing that we share, a thing to adore. Can you feel it? My heart beats out of sync... For the one that I love, the one that I need. The longing, it's not to be ignored. I close my eyes, so my heart can soar.
