A RAINY DAY The weather keeps on slicing my day Always leaving me the smaller piece The toothless sun deceives me Into dreaming a dry landscape The weather has intervened Again and again with its bare rhetoric My desperate try to counter it Nosedives to the nearest ditch. A honeycomb melts into earth I perceive my palm itching to stretch For one seedless sweetness.
