Emile Pinet Poet Quatrain

A Rainbow of Wishes

With the clarity of truth,
your love shields my heart from harm.
And restores my dreams of youth,
with your innocence and charm.

You excite my heart in ways
that inspire passion to start.
And flames flare into a blaze,
in my combustible heart.

Your maraschino kisses
taste like sugar on my lips.
And a rainbow of wishes
harbor fantasy dream ships.

Your love, guided by my love,
found its way into my heart.
And lifted me high above
the clouds, where doubts fell apart.

Knowing you'll always be there;
comforts both body and soul.
And feelings our two hearts share,
form the bond that makes us whole.
