A Rainbow of Birds
Morning awakens with a downpour of birds.
Chirps on repeat tweet spring's arrival.
Sun brushes upon perky wings of revival:
robins, wrens, swallows, blue jays, hummingbirds!
Upon the ground, within trees, and soaring high,
a rainbow of colors flows like fresh springs:
ash, gold, scarlet, azure, violet wings!
High and low, birds form an arch in the sky.
