A Quiet Place
The evening's quiet sun sets before me
enveloping me, enticing me with calm
the sky's purple colors float on the sea
a breeze warm is a soft brush on my palm
this mystical meditation is serene
and frees my soul to its ambient form
peaceful silent visions that I may glean
will caress my eyes and invite the warm
I dream of wearing clouds like a garment
as they glide across the horizon's line
soft silhouettes upon the wind's current
that allow my heart and soul to align
like tides gathering fish into a shoal
the quiet has taken shape in my soul
