Listen to poem:

A Quick Little Flight

With the clouds on my back, I am a lifting spirit truly free
This view is incredible, so far; as my little blackened eyes can see
When Mama taught us the glide, we were scared to let go; she said, "It's in all of you," just be—
Now, when I try hard enough, I pretend the trees are looking up, waving with glee
Encouraging self-worth is always wanted for you by seeing a Cardinal like me

:) I have been feeling very encouraged and supported in my life. It made me think of how much blind faith and encouragement a baby bird must receive when they're being taught to fly. Only fitting to use a cardinal, given that they are a symbol of self worth. Wishing you happiness in all that you do, Paige! A.S.
