A Question Of Time

It’s a question of time that ecology
Will collapse and they’ll tax us to death
I’ll be reading Yi Ching and astrology
Hoping for an alternative breath
And your face will look down on me smiling
From the every page of those texts
And I’ll whisper excuse me my darling
It’s just me who is coming up next
It’s an answer of space that looks obvious
It’s a place where you are not alone
It’s just rain that falls gently on both of us
It’s a ball on the freshly mown lawn.
