It sure is insane that this country continues to tolerate this kind of nonsense. You'd think we'd be ready for this to happen. But noooooooooo….

The loot and burn, because they tried to kneel and they still got criticized... Sometimes peaceful protest do not work, in fact they never have... I do not agree with looting and burning, but people have had enough.. its the govt that needs to listen, instead of sending soldiers and telling them to shoot... thats what trump said.

The government can listen, but what more can it do? The racist laws have been removed from the books. Still, you can't legislate love, and you can't force people to pay for others' failures to take advantage of the opportunities offered them, be they white, yellow, tan, black, or green... Violent protests this time will probably lead to more oppression, as they did at the 1968 Democratic convention. Midwesterners are law-and-order folks. ~ gw

Agreed. Mr. Trump encourages violence and anarchy with his constant damaging tweets... Of course, Mr. Obama encouraged violence with his measured speeches, implying that white racism was responsible for many of the ills of this country, thereby justifying a violent black reaction... And so it goes... You're right. The USA needs a leader with vision, but there's no one anywhere to be found. What will follow, inevitably, is more repression.... And so it goes... Cheers, Gershon
