A Quandary
Suddenly one day love came and told me
she is retiring
Imagine my quandary? Whatever would happen
to people like me who live for love?
I ran and went to trust and told him my plight
Trust told me his warranty period
is getting over
I could not believe this so I went to my heart.
My heart said her lifetime offer was ending
I was out of my mind by then,
so I went to my dreams.
My dreams told me that people dream
only big for themselves.
I felt dejected and very lonely
and thought everyone was
abandoning me.
Like fish that cant live without water
How can a mere mortal like me live without
love ,trust, my heart and dreams?
Hope was my only hope now,
so I approached him
Hope reassured me that as long
as he was with me
nothing will happen to me.
Hope then told me that if he stayed
then love, trust, my
heart and dreams would surely return.
He told me to hold on tight to his hand
and he held on to mine and never let go
We progressed into a better now,
and a stronger tomorrow,
Were dreams and heart , love and trust
became a reality.
