A Primal Scream

Far from the curious and the bored from prying eyes and microphones The haunt of laboratory and clipboard stiff backbone, late nights alone A drive from deep inside, a primal scream pushing and tugging the scientist's dream Fatigue's chains broken, he toils on Discovery's Joy, a new day's dawned

The scientists of tomorrow are so wise I am amazed by the third and fifth grader's science fair projects! You are correct in every way here. Edison's 999th try did not result in the lightbulb, but his 10,000th try did! He recorded each one also.

C'mon. Edison must have been indefatigable in the grandest sense of that term. Thanks for the education, Caren. Cheers, Gershon

Thank you so much, Brenda. (Have to write some 'non-smilers' sometimes). Best wishes, Gershon
