If I should write
A pretty poem
A pretty poem
For you
And sprinkle dust
Some pixie dust
To make the words
Come true
My words would be
About the sea
And how the sky
Is blue
A southern breeze
Would catch your sail
And navigate
For you
A pod of dolphins
Would appear
To welcome you
With glee
A family
Of flying fish
Would glide
In synchrony
Before too long
An island jewel
Would catch you
By surprise
A blue lagoon
Would beckon you
To saturate
Your eyes
A sandy beach
Would shine for you
To walk
And splash the tide
And everywhere
The ocean breeze
Would calm you
Deep inside
And when the joy
Of paradise
Reflected in
Your heart
Your dream would be
Of one so true
Because I played
The part.
