A Prayer
"I said a prayer for you today that I know god must have heard
I felt him listening in my heart though I heard not a word
i didn't ask him for wealth or my own fame although I knew you wouldn't mind
i asked him for a far more lasting kind....
I asked that he'd be near you at the start of each new day.....
to grant you blessings health and friends to share them with along your way....
I asked him for you happiness in all things big and small....
but his love and care is what I prayed for most of all"

Hey mom....just wanted to keep you updated in this life of mine.....as things has changed for me along the line....but no worries I'll be fine....people say that parents watch over their kids when they pass away so I thought I let you read my words (to you) today...I'm ok....I still exist....still being me living amongst lists....climbing out of holes that I dug deep....struggling through out life is the motive that I seem to keep....affording new things...fighting through the economy the government weathered storm still brings....but i'm still okay...well 'til I pray to you again...goodnight...I love you Mom...Amen...
