A Post-Shower Puddle Shines
A post-shower puddle shines
Majestic rays, bright and wide.
Lest when foot splashes, all that clashes
With sensations: touch and eye
Though this moment matters;
Inconvenience, wet or warm
Peer down the way: vibrant blades verde
Yes. The yellow sun gives life, and
Doesn’t God give all?
Yes. A mellow sunkist ring band
Wi’thin cutted tree dith fall?
Oh puddle, now dim, you sign of wonders!
No longer will I make asunder
These sensations from abundant measure.
