A Portrait of You
A portrait of you
When I wake up in the morning
From the night shadows yearning.
And the final star going out of sight
I saw a portrait of a lady in the moonlight.
As dawn dew descended from the sky
I hear the fluttering of a floating butterfly.
Its elegance reminds me of the portrait of you,
Pressed against the sun coming through.
Like a cascade of flames glowing irresistibly
You are brimming in the stillness of mystery.
like the sound in my heartbeat of raindrops,
Your face paints a portrait in a thousand spots.
I think of you as the air that surrounds me,
The scent and sound and vision I see
in you, the existence of a future destiny to be.
In summers hazel glaze peasant field,
with my sword, my horse, and my shield.
embracing the times and the tools of fate.
this beautiful engagement we celebrate.
The time of your existence has the bloom
And frame the portrait painted in the room,
With Pieces of places in the best of earth,
the portrait shows beauty worth.
