A Pole Jumped Out In Front of Me

Have you ever seen someone walk into a pole Happened to me once while out for a stroll Had a poem in mind To all else I was blind Should've paid attention, dirtied my camisole © Jack Ellison 2015

Hahaha! Nice... it is worse when there are witnesses. Some spend many career years near a pole... I prefer to avoid them.... : ) you're so funny and your titles always draw me in..Always, Laura

Hey young Jack... a wall sized mirror dropped me flat as a tack a long time ago, and now you write something to remind me of it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane young Jack - Lindsay

Rather than walking into a pole, I was walking with a gorgeous young lassie and walked right into a fire hydrate!!! Had to pretend I was okay but holy crap, my personal package was screaming at me!!! LOL

Reminds me of one evening, coming home from work, I awoke behind the steering wheel of my car; was headed directly for a light pole. I awoke just in time to straighten up and avoid hitting it. (No, I don't usually sleep behind the wheel, but I had been doing a lot of overtime, at that point in my life and didn't realize how exhausted I was.

Have you ever walked into Grandpa Troll?... First he'll steal your heart... Then you'll have to pay a toll... And never doubt that he's in control... He's very effective in playing that role...
