A Poets Thoughts

If I wrote you a poem
With very few words
You may think I am crazy
And that poetry has to have meaning
But through the eyes of a poet
Not every word has to rhyme
Nor have great meaning.

In a poets world
Our minds are creative
Thoughts and words are forever racing
We are passionate, emotional and forever dreaming
You can say we are soul searching.

Emotions and feelings are our weakness
But our greatest accomplishments
Are the words we write
Expressing love,pain,sorrow and joy.

We see the hearts of our readers
We know of their tales
We listen
We speak for the speechless.

The ones that are never heard
The child that is broken
The mother that is wounded
The father that is lost.

Not all poems have to have meaning
It just has to be written right.

I like it alot a Poet's thoughts spilling word's infusing thoughts conveying imaginations or expression of emotions. Isolating reality even for a brief moment of creativity to power phrase life's philosophical catch phrases. Excellently penned.
